Sage Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

1/4 cup chocolate wafers

1/4 cup jaggery

1 bunch sage

1 clove

1 tbsp tahini

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup water

 

Method

1. Boil water and take it off the stove.

2. Add a handful of sage leaves, jaggery and clove to the hot water and let it steep for 10-15 mins.

3. Strain the water out and let it simmer until it becomes a syrup.

4. Add the chocolate wafers to your cup and let it melt in the microwave in 30 second bursts.

5. Add the tahini and 2 tsps of the syrup to the milk and froth using a milk frothed or a blender.

6. Add the milk to the melted chocolate and garnish with a sage leaf. Enjoy!
